Monthly Updates

BusinessTech offers a comprehensive preventative maintenance package. Each month our technical consultants complete a documented series of on-site and remote tasks to help ensure that your business is running efficiently and safely.

Here is a partial list of the tasks we perform:

Microsoft Updates

• Servers: we will ensure that your servers have received all of the Microsoft updates. If a reboot is required we will schedule it with you so as not to interfere with your operation
• Workstations: we will ensure that your workstations have autotmatic updates turned on and have downloaded and installed all of the current updates.

Backup

• We will configure your backup to email us a daily report (if possible) so that if your back up is failing, we can react quickly to fix it.
• We will review your backup log and look for errors. If there are errors found, we will investigate the cause and suggest a resolution.
• We will perform a test restore from one of your tapes to ensure that data can be recovered from the tapes.

Event Viewer

We will review all of the current events in your server's event viewer to identify any irregularities. If we discover anything we will investigate it and recommend a solution.

Anti-Virus

We will review your anti-virus console and ensure that your machines are checking in and being updated regularly. If any machine is not updating we will investigate it and recomment a solution.
